Saturday January 26, 2008 9:00 - 11:00 AM	Manoa Adopt-A-Stream Cleanup Malama o Manoa's participation in the City's Adopt-A-Stream program, whereby Malama and other community groups adopt a portion of the stream and pitch in at least quarterly to clean both the stream and its banks of litter and trash. Malama's adopted portion extends from the Woodlawn Drive bridge near Longs Drugs up to the Kahaloa Street bridge near Manoa Gardens at the District Park. Meet at the Woodlawn Drive bridge near the Longs Drugs parking lot. For more information, call George Arizumi at 988-5069 or Eric DeCarlo at 988-5028.

Sunday              April 20th, 2008 8:00am to 12:00 noon	Third Annual Thousand Tree Giveaway The wild and crazy Malama o Manoa 1,000 Tree Giveaway!!! It will take place on Sunday, April 20th, 2008, from 8:00 am to noon  at the Manoa District Park Pavilion off of Lowrey Avenue. Over 1000 trees of many varieties will be given out to Oahu residents. It is hoped that these trees will add to the greening of Oahu--- one small human step to balance the rampant concrete development which is consuming our island.

Malama's adopted portion extends from the Woodlawn Drive bridge near Longs Drugs up to the Kahaloa Street bridge near Manoa Gardens at the District Park. October Date to be determined	Malama o Manoa Biennial Kupuna Supper Long-time residents of our valley are honored every other year at Malama o Manoa's biennial Na Kupuna Supper. This year's celebration dinner will be held at Tree Tops Restaurant and honors Manoa Valley's kupuna - those 65 years of age and older who have resided in Manoa for over 50 years. December 2008  Date:  TBD            6:00 PM to 8:00 PM	East Manoa Lions Club Manoa Christmas Parade Parade starts at Noelani Elementary School and proceeds ewa on Kolowalu Street, then mauka on East Manoa Road, ewa on Lowrey Avenue, and mauka on Manoa Road to Manoa Valley District Park. All are welcome and encouraged to attend along the parade route!
