THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY:
"LIVE GREEN" with a Manoa Eco-Tote

Did you know?  Americans use 14 billion plastic bags each year.  That is 425 bags per person.  Where do the bags go?  Only 3% of the bags are recycled.  The rest end up in our landfills, our streams and oceans.

What is being done elsewhere?  Australia, South Africa and Taiwan are some countries that have banned plastic bags.  Ireland imposes a 15-cent tax per bag and has reduced use by 95%.

Let's do something now to change our habits and make a difference:  Start here in Manoa Valley.  Use and reuse this sturdy jumbo "MANOA ECO-TOTE" to sack groceries and other purchases.  Buy some for yourself, family and friends.  Jon the green revolution today!

Limited quantities so buy some now.  We will be sold out by Christmas.  Buy more totes at Tom Terrific's Copy Center on 2961 E.  Manoa Road/Lowrey St corner. Designed by Marika Wilson, 2007, for Malama o Manoa.

We are sellling the bags like crazy.  We sold 600 at the October 20th CO-Fair.  To date, we have gotten rid of 3000 with less than 2,000 to go.  And, that is within a week.  ...we presold!   We want to sell out by Christmas.
